Animals, like humans, are prone to viral infections, especially ‘flu’ like viruses. Like humans, animals become lethargic and tired easily when exercising. With horses, this condition can be particularly pronounced and debilitating. With the wide range of good Aloe Vera products now available, animal custodians both commercial and domestic, can often intervene to reduce the symptoms, initiate healing and even prevent infections. As with the human process, all the elements necessary to produce healthy skin cells are supplied to an area via the bloodstream. This can be precipitated by adding Aloe Vera gel drink products to animal feed. This can be problematic with cats, which are notoriously fussy and may not like the taste. One solution is to paint it on their fur, which they will soon lick clean.
